Mt Southington Update 1

Although we weren’t able to get 15 or more people to go this Saturday, I will still be taking out whomever would like to make it.  The plan is the same as before in terms of time and place: meet at Mt Southington by the ticket windows at 12.30 pm.  Unfortunately the price is going to go up by about $10 to $15 to $70 for the Beginner package.  We’ll be there for the afternoon and I thought I’d make reservations at Somewhere in Bangkok for some Thai food in Southington at about 5.30 or 6 pm.  Please let me know if you are planning on coming.  No need to pay me beforehand now.
Thanks.

X-Treme Scramble #1 0

Suggested by Tory:

Evening run along the Connecticut River on shaded paved and dirt trails cut into the river bank.

Course Informations
Every Scramble is different – you may cross over the river on Founders Bridge and take the switchback ramp down onto the path along Great River Park. You may follow the path south past the boat ramp and amphitheater. You might wade along the beach on the river and up and over the hill back to the path.
You might run across the bridge and down the stairs to Charter Oak Landing and follow the trail into Charter Oak Landing. You may even climb over the Park River and continue south to the finish beneath Mortensen Riverfront Plaza.  Portions of this course might get you wet, might make you curse, might make you dirty – but it will all make you smile.
